    Across lab sections and lecture halls I have taught undergraduate students a range of topics and lab techniques. I have been ranked as excellent by my students every semester I have taught (2020, 2021, 2022). In 2024 I was given the Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching for Graduate Teaching Assistants, awarded by the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at UIUC.

  • TEACHING

    I have experience teaching in a range of classrooms, both in person and virtually.

    ANIMAL BIOLOGY (FALL 2020, 2021, 2022)

    Lead instructor: Dr. Lily Arias, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

    As a lecture Assistant & lab instructor I developed course content including homework assignments, quizzes, and exam questions. As a lab instructor I gave short lessons and lead class activities both on zoom (2020) and in person (2021, 2022).

    As a lab instructor I gave short lessons and lead class activities in person and on zoom.

    ANIMAL BEHAVIOR (SPRING 2021)

    As a lecture assistant I monitored online lecture chat, presented a lecture on invasive species, graded exams, and graded class activities.
