MENTORING

Mentoring is one of my favorite parts about my job! I have mentored undergraduate students as a Master's student & as a PhD student. I have been a mentor in the Phenotypic Plasticity Research Experience for Community College Students (PRECS) for three summers (2021, 2022. 2023), the Access and Achievement Program (AAP) for two summers (2022, 2023), and the iBio program for one summer (2024). In 2024 I took on a new role of "program coordinator" of the Achievement & Access Program Summer Research Fellowship, mentoring 10 undergraduate researchers through a rigorous 10-week research program.
